1. Our Mission

Harvard Dating exists to help students connect meaningfully in real life. Our goal is to foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive community grounded in shared values and human connection.

2. Community Expectations

Engage with kindness. Treat others with respect. Disagreements are fine—disrespect isn’t. Review our Community Guidelines to understand what behavior is acceptable and what will get you removed.

3. Safety

If you see something off, report it. We take safety seriously and have tools in place to address inappropriate behavior fast.

4. Inclusivity

Harvard Dating welcomes people of all identities and backgrounds. Anyone using the platform is expected to treat others with dignity.

5. Privacy

Don’t share others’ personal information. Don’t screenshot or circulate private conversations. Respect others’ boundaries and privacy at all times.

6. Zero Tolerance for Bullying

Harassment, threats, or bullying—whether in messages or in person—will result in immediate removal. No exceptions.

7. Positive Engagement

Encourage meaningful conversation and real-world connection. If you’re here to play games or manipulate others, this isn’t the place for you.

8. Reporting and Blocking

Use in-app tools to report users, messages, or profiles that violate our standards.

• Reporting Messages: Tap and report any message that seems inappropriate.

• Blocking Users: Block users who behave badly. They won’t be able to message you again.

• Reporting Profiles or Events: If a profile, post, or event is off, report it.

• Hiding Content: You can hide threads or event groups that don’t interest you.

We investigate every report. Serious violations lead to permanent bans.

9. Content Standards

Post honestly and respectfully. No explicit, hateful, or misleading content. If it doesn’t reflect the tone of a real-world Harvard conversation, it doesn’t belong here.

10. Your Role

You’re responsible for your behavior and the content you post. Be thoughtful. This platform only works if everyone brings integrity.

11. No Discrimination

Racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, or any form of discrimination will not be tolerated.

12. Account Termination

We reserve the right to ban anyone who violates these terms or makes the platform worse for others. Don’t test it.

13. Changes to These Terms

We’ll update these terms as the platform evolves. You’ll be notified when we do.
